Chi Alpha is a Christian student organization that started on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University in the 80’s and early 90’s. Things have been dormant on campus until now.
This Fall (August 2022) Chi Alpha will be coming back to the university with a brand new team of pioneers.
Our heart is to reach University students for the cause of Christ. We believe that the university campus is the most strategic missions field for a couple of reasons :
1.) The university campus is filled with the next generation of leaders. In bringing the gospel to university campuses we have the opportunity to impact not only students of today but leaders of tomorrow.
2.) In reaching the university campus we reach the world. College campuses are filled with international students who are longing for so much more than an education. International students want to be loved and welcomed. What better way to do that than showing them the love of Jesus.
3.) When we bring Jesus to university students we are impacting the marketplace. The gospel is not only for the church it is for all the world to hear. In sharing Jesus with university students we are making it possible for the marketplace to be transformed by God.
